Brandon Rucker

A former comics retailer during the boom-and-bust 1990s, Brandon is a published author of short fiction and a former fiction editor. In the Summer of 2011 he was one of the three co-founders of a social media group of comics geeks. That same year he entered the fray of opinionated comics journalism and has since had articles published by Bleeding Cool, ENR – eXpress News & Reviews (via eXpertComics.com), World of Superheroes and of course his own personal comics blog Comic Book Fetish. In 2014 that aforementioned collective needed a new name, so he suggested The Comic Book Underground and it stuck.

Known in the comics journo field as DAMM, Steve is a Colorado native resident. He has had articles published on websites such as World of Superheroes, ENR – eXpress  News and Reviews (via eXpertComics.com, of which he was also a co-founder/editor), as well as his own websites. He has loved comics for 40 years, but currently prefers the live-action and animated medium for his superheroes fix. But he’s slowly making his way back to his beloved heroes upon the printed page.
